All manuals, quality systems, procedures, and facility controls have been developed to full Part 145 standards, and we are completing the remaining steps with our FAA Certification Team to achieve our Air Agency Certificate.

About Us

White Ladder Aviation is an FAA Part 145 Repair Station delivering high-integrity non-destructive testing and specialized inspection of aircraft accessory components. Founded by a multigenerational aviation family with more than five decades of combined maintenance and inspection experience, WLA brings a disciplined, detail-driven approach to every part we evaluate.  We support operators, MROs, stockists, and teardown suppliers with accurate reporting, dependable turnaround times, and a service mindset shaped by decades of hands-on aviation experience.

Jerry Ridenour

Operations Manager / Lead NDT Inspector

Jerry has spent nearly four decades in aviation maintenance, inspection, and nondestructive testing. He leads WLA’s quality system and NDT program, applying a methodical, detail-driven approach that sets the technical foundation for the repair station.

Dugan Ridenour

Chief Inspector / Quality Manager

Dugan is an A&P-certificated mechanic with a strong background in aircraft maintenance and component inspection. His additional medical training as a Physician Assistant brings a unique focus on precision, process discipline, and technical documentation to WLA’s inspection program.

White Ladder Aviation’s capabilities are built on more than five decades of combined aircraft maintenance, inspection, and repair station experience. Our team has worked across multiple segments of the aviation industry — including FAA Part 121 and 135 air carriers, component repair facilities, and nondestructive testing programs — giving us a broad and practical understanding of the inspection standards our customers require.

These milestones shape the disciplined, detail-oriented approach that guides every inspection we perform.

Key experience and milestones include:
  • 15 years supporting aircraft maintenance and technical operations within a major Part 121 air carrier
  • Professional maintenance experience with a Part 135 charter operator
  • 37+ years of aviation maintenance and NDT inspection expertise
  • Hands-on experience in commercial and GA maintenance environments, including component-level repair and inspection
  • Management and quality oversight roles inside an FAA Part 145 repair station
  • Development of WLA’s complete FAA Part 145 quality system, including manuals, training, and inspection procedures
  • Specialized background in the inspection and function-testing of aircraft accessory components
  • Successful buildout of WLA’s dedicated NDT facility, processes, and equipment
